Igf-1lr3 is a hormone with a molecular weight of 7.6kD, and its molecular structure is similar to that of insulin. The main mechanism of action is to induce intracellular signal transduction by binding to its specific receptor (IGF1R). Igf-1lr3 is one of the most effective activators of AKT signaling pathway, which stimulates cell growth and proliferation and inhibits apoptosis. Igf-1lr3 added 13 amino acids to the n-terminal of the complete IGF-1 molecule to form a long chain of 83 amino acids igF-1, and replaced glutamate (E), the third amino acid of IGF-1 molecule, with arginine (R), so it was called R3. Igf-1lr3 showed higher stability and bioactivity than unmodified IGF-1.
